TIME CAPSULE

The aluminium briefcase is your child’s time capsule.
You can lock it at the end of the party, or better still after their first birthday, the choice is yours.
An ideal combination for the lock is your child’s birth date.

Items you could place in the capsule:

1. Everything from the party,
a. Ribbons, balloons etc.
b. Games, drawings, tips, etc.
c. Birthday cards etc.
d. Include the receipts for the groceries, etc.
e. Photographs taken at the time.
2. Ask your guests to bring a small item of sentimental value with them, and maybe attach a message to it. Don’t forget to ask friends and family, who aren’t at your party to contribute too.
3. Get your guests to predict the future, and also predict what your child will be doing / look like in 16 years!
4. Any calendars or journals you keep for the babies first year.
5. Personal items from your baby e.g.
a. Umbilical cord
b. Lock of hair
c. First milk tooth
6. Photographs of things or people that are important to you.
7. Buy 10 premium bonds or shares of stock in a company and put the certificates in the capsule
8. A letter describing your life for the past year or so
9. Favourite toys, dolls and stuffed animals (but make sure they won't be too missed)
10. Newspapers on their birth days.

Ensure that everything is clean and dry, and use the silica bags that come with your case.
Try not to fold paper. You can get anti acid spray from hobby shops.
Try to comprehensively list and describe all items, you will not remember in 16 years!
When you have locked it, hide it in the loft, do not open it, FORGET IT until their 16th Birthday!!
